Professional skills

Translation and Review of IT, multimedia, technical and marketing texts

Technical and IT documentation, manuals, online tutorials, user's guides, technical specifications, datasheets, marketing material, white papers, PowerPoint presentations, press releases, end user license agreements, internal business documentation, subtitles, etc.

Localization of software, websites and videogames

• Software. Familiarity with software localization processes from the translation of UI, online help and documentation to the testing of the localized software on Windows and Mac platforms.

• Websites. Extensive experience in the localization of large and small corporate websites.

• Videogames. Translation of scripts, in-game and instructions for a variety of different games, from RPG to arcade, first-person shooters, simulation and strategy games for different platforms (PC, PSP, PS2, Nintendo DS, Xbox, mobile etc.).

Glossary creation

Creation of client/project-specific glossaries or translation memories in order to achieve consistency throughout the translation. Review, update and validation of existing glossaries and other terminology management activities.
